The hole at the bottom of the silencer is smaller than the hole at the bottom of the funnel. This means, when the silencer is applied, it will allow less water through the funnel to be sprayed onto the sides of the water bowl and will therefore reduce the water noise during operation. This is handy to use in smaller rooms or bedrooms due to the noise and coverage reduction.

During the air cleaning process, dirt is trapped in the purifying solution and accumulates on the inside of the funnel. This could cause a blockage in the funnel and prevent the water flow through the funnel. The machine must therefore be cleaned on a regular basis (once a month), especially the funnel (fortnightly). The cleaning cycle can vary depending on the cleanliness of the air in your area.

Some fragrances have a cooling, soothing and clearing effect which can lessen inflammation and open previously blocked respiratory airways. This can cause the release of water or mucus through the nose, throat and mouth when you have sinus, a cold or blocked nose or from the lungs when you get relief from bronchitis or an asthma attack. This is normal, because it is part of the healing process. If it persists, stop using the system for a day or two and try it again. You body might need a few days to acclimatise to the product if you have not used it before.

The remaining solution in the water bowl will still have strong odour-, bacterial- and fungal eliminating properties. It can therefore be used to remove bacteria, mould and fungi build-up from your basins, toilets and drains by pouring it down their downpipes or you can use it to wash your floors. It has excellent cleaning and disinfesting properties!
